Bring An Oscar to Pennsylvania

This year’s site decorating contest at the 2008 Campvention (July 4 – 10) at Centre Hall, PA revolves around Oscar. The famous Oscar statuette, presented to the winners at the Acadamy Awards, ties in with this year’s theme of "Hollywood in the Hills." Prizes will be awarded in two categories – most realistic and most creative. The contest is sponsored by Geneseo Campground in Geneseo, Illinois, Crag and Shari Weber, owners.

Participants must register at Campvention and judges will visit each site. On Wednesday evening, the night of our Oscar Party, the entries will be gathered at the stage. You have brought trees to Iowa, lobsters to Maine, outhouses to West Virginia, and fire hydrants to Canada so start working on your Oscar.
