Our camping organization is pleased that you are visiting our website.

Family Campers & RVers is celebrating its 59th year as an active camping club organization with over 6500 members. Our organization differentiates itself from other camping organizations in a few ways. Firstly, we are chartered as non-profit and, with the exception of 3 paid administrative staff in our national office located in Buffalo NY, we are organized and run entirely by volunteers. Secondly, our organization and activities are geared to the enjoyment of the entire family and it is open to all campers from tenters to owners of Class A motor homes. Thirdly, we encourage our members to be involved in their communities and to support conservation and wild life projects.

While the majority of our membership is comprised of camping families, we most certainly welcome individuals who love to camp and embrace family values. Our motto is “Where strangers become friends, and friends become family” and this can apply to you. Our goal is to provide the camping family with activities that will bring fun and fellowship to every member.

We do not to sell recreational vehicles nor permanent campsites. Our activities within the organization include a variety of programs suitable for youth, teens, and adults.

Our organization structure revolves around camping members who organize themselves into camping chapters (clubs) mainly in the U.S.A. and Canada. We are also affiliated with a world wide camping organization, FICC ( Federation International Camping Caravans).
